Well my 28 day program is winding down! I am so glad I had the opportunity to try it--it truly has changed the way I will eat. I feel slimmer, less bloated and less hungry. The Good:

-The food is tasty! Yes, I wish I had more of it, but I am enjoying everything so far. I have been very hungry though--they say the first 3 days are the worst and then my hunger should subside (fingers crossed).

this site is all about grabbing samples QUICK but for free. afterwards, you get the samples mailed to you and receive a quick survey about your opinions a few weeks later. it's a great site but the samples go fast so you need to respond ASAP when you get the email that new monthly samples have launched. i have scored many full size nail polishes, trial sized shampoos/conditioners, and k-cups.

overall, it's pretty effortless but you have to be fast because the site is catching on and they run out if you wait.

My PTF is here---48 lbs. of it! I must say shipping is super quick. I placed my order Tuesday afternoon and Saturday it is at my doorstep. (in fact I could have even chosen Friday for delivery). It was all still very frozen and packed with dry ice. The food categories were also layered within the box for easy sorting--meats on the bottom, then veggies, breakfasts and snacks on the top.

So what exactly is the Personal Trainer Food Diet Program? Based on what I am reading, it is similar to the Paleo diet, meaning if cavemen didn't eat it, we shouldn't either. It largely consists of meats, eggs, non-starchy vegetables, and nuts. 

Their website sums it up quite succinctly:

I am very excited to begin a new diet delivery program called Personal Trainer Food! they recently changed their rewards program and now it is through Tango--which is a bit of a pain to redeem but i still can get amazon codes. Tango actually has many options including iTunes, home depot and target among many others).

this survey site is a sister site of globaltestmarket, although the surveys are not as well paying or as frequent. what i do like about this site is the amount of product tests i receive and last year i qualified for a hair study that paid $280! you never know what surveys will lead to great things so you just need to trudge through them and keep your fingers crossed!

YellowBeaks Window Bird Feeder Review

Every since the weather turned cooler I am seeing TONS of birds nibbling in the feeder! seriously, several different birds are taking a quick bite just about every couple minutes. One of my cats just watches in amazement nearly the whole day. They are super quick and it's hard to take a photo but I finally succeeded!

I always wanted one of these! What a great idea--to see birds up close right at your window. I love that this bird feeder is completely clear--there's not a bad view to be found. It also holds A LOT of birdseed so you won't be filling it every other day. But probably best of all, because it's suspended midair to your window--those pesky squirrels can't get to it--this perch is all for the birds! I can only imagine the excitement my cats are having when they're home alone watching this bird show.

20/20 Research Panel

this is definitely THE panel to sign up for to score a focus group. they offer tons of them, covering just about every topic imaginable. also like their FB page because i have found many more opportunities are listed there compared to what i receive in email.

of course, taking long screeners is zero fun, and you will fill MANY out trying to snag a spot, but unfortunately that's the process and you will never get chosen for any if you don't try.

E-Jury Review

this site is a very interesting one. sign up to be an 'e-juror' and review an actual court case! submit your feedback,  explain your point of view, and actually say what your verdict would be--PLUS get paid for it.

valued opinions review

this is another site that i can count on every month for a $20 amazon gift card. they send out surveys quite frequently too--i often will get one daily and qualify for probably 70% of them.

they have many gift card reward options, including visa e-cards and pay quickly. i really have nothing bad to say about them other than they take out a small transaction fee for most redemptions and the surveys tend to be longer, averaging 20 minutes (and typically paying $2). i also have only received 1 or 2 product tests from them in almost 2 years time. i have qualified for a handful of 'special projects' though which were interesting and easy to do.

definitely worth signing up and trying out.

this was one of the first survey sites i joined. i don't get surveys very often but can usually redeem a $10 amazon e-card about every 6 wks. the surveys usually center around health, the internet, or mobile devices. 

my favorite part of opinion square is that you receive a token if you disqualify and then you get to play their fun token game! you are guaranteed to win something--i most often win 25 pts but i have won 100 pts before too.
