My Incredible Online Earnings For 2017.

It's that time of year! I always get a bit anxious and worried I won't beat my LY numbers but yet again, I have done it! Here is my breakdown for 2017:

GRAND TOTAL: $19,667.94 (SO CLOSE TO $20K!)

THAT AVERAGES TO:
$1,639 A MONTH
$378 A WEEK
$54 A DAY

NO, IT DOESN'T STACK UP TO A REGULAR FULL-TIME JOB BUT FOR WORKING FROM HOME AND SETTING MY OWN HOURS AND CHOOSING EXACTLY WHAT PROJECTS I WANT TO DO---IT'S PRETTY SWELL AND IT REALLY, REALLY HELPS OUR HOUSEHOLD BUDGET!

2017 WAS A 13% INCREASE FOR ME OVER 2016.

my blog has definitely slowed down. the first few years i was so busy discovering new sites and money makers--now i feel i have discovered all the good ones unless they are new--so there's not too much to post now. i also saw many sites close or join forces with other research companies. nevertheless i tallied up my top 15 money makers for 2017. here you go!

Fitdesk Review

what a great invention! being a survey taker and blogger, i am on my laptop A LOT. and that means i am sitting, docile, not burning any calories for A LOT of my day. i would go through waves of being motivated to exercise but i never stuck with it for long and truth be told, as soon as i heard my email alert notification go off, i would stop and run to see if it was anything important. let's just say i wasn't going to get in any shape with my current methods.

Best indoor toy to burn that toddler energy!

hands down one of my better purchases---a small indoor trampoline for your toddler to jump, jump, jump straight into nap time! especially with winter weather quickly approaching, this is a great way to burn energy indoors when running around outside is not an option.

walmart savings catcher review

#review
UPDATE #2! sadly the bluebird doubling has ended :(
we can only hope they bring it back in the future.

UPDATE! i just learned you can get an american express bluebird card and DOUBLE your savings catcher rewards! it was super easy to do too. i just applied for the bluebird card (its not a credit card but kind of like a prepaid card) and they mailed it to me. i then transferred my $18 in savings catcher to the card and it doubled to $36. definitely take advantage of this offer!

OMG this is genius! everyone MUST download this app and take advantage of what walmart is offering.

simply put---shop at walmart, scan your receipt, walmart then does all the price checking for you--they actually compare their prices against all the nearby competitors printed and digital sales ads--and if someone had an item cheaper you get credited the difference! how easy is that?

A MUST-DO FOR EVERY WOMAN!

buy an ordinary magazine holder and now you have the perfect storage container for all your hair styling tools! i bought mine from ikea. it neatly houses my style tools--prior they would be all tangled up together in a drawer!

voila! its easy, takes up hardly any space and now your hair gadgets look cute and organized.

hide the toys and maintain your sanity!

if you have small children your house also probably looks like a declared disaster area by the end of the day! i am amazed daily at how many toys a 2 yr old can scatter and uproot in the course of 24 hrs. and where do you store them all? i really don't want my house to be a constant tripping hazard and feel more like a toys r us than a house that adults actually occupy.

who knew?

today it was a blistering 50 degrees in st louis so it was time to head outdoors to play! it was way too muddy to play in the actual yard from all the snow melting so i had to keep the entertainment confined to the driveway. i decided to just bring out the chalk and randomly write the alphabet and numbers all over the driveway and have a scavenger hunt. i could not believe how engaged my 2 1/2 yr. old was!

this kept him busy for AN HOUR! i went through the entire alphabet and he had to jump on the letter i said. then i did random numbers and he loved searching the ground trying to locate them and then pounce on said number. sometimes its the simplest things that keep your kid captivated!

organization station!

i just reorganized my 'organization station'---basically ground zero for planning and plotting out our families activities. i have 2 ikea magnetic boards for my son's school things--upcoming events, reminders etc... and then i have a bulletin board designated to all the product tests i am currently involved with. i use my family organizer calendar to just down all family events, deadlines, survey stuff.
i have tried to go the technological route and utilize my iPhones notes and calendar for this but i simply prefer to write it all down where the whole family can easily see whats going on that week.

i highly suggest amy knapps family organizer--it comes with sheets of stickers (sports practice, vet, dentist, no school etc..) and the boxes for each day are large enough to fit in several event

here is the link for the calendar from amazon.

my 'new job' as a homemaker

i was a retail manager for 20+ years. after having our 2nd son, life became too hectic with both me and my husband's jobs heavily scheduled on holidays, weekends and nights. we decided we would try living on one income and that i would become a stay at home mom.

well, i quickly discovered i needed a way to earn some extra income (gotta have my monthly target fix!) from the comforts of my home and so i started doing surveys. my first month i think i made $159. well now i make pretty decent money and thought i could also use my blog as a platform for sharing my best sites and overall tips.

so---stay tuned for more about my life as a homemaker/surveytaker.

Display your kids art!

here is what i did this morning---i found these great peel and stick frames on amazon and put my sons art inside them---the refrigerator was becoming overloaded!

i like the outcome and think i will order more and make our entire hallway a living exhibit that i will rotate throughout the year.

and so it begins....

well i felt it was time to start my own blog---and here i go.
